Directions

Recovery Resources is located 125 miles north of St. Louis, Missouri and 100 miles west of Springfield, Illinois on the Mississippi River. It is accessible by air, train and highway.

From St. Louis (from the South)

Follow US-40 or I-70 to Wentzville, Missouri and turn north on Route 61. Take Route 61 to Hannibal, Missouri and cross the Mississippi to I-72/US-36 and go north. Exit from I-72/US-36 at the Payson exit (this is Illinois Route 96) and go left to Quincy. Follow Route 96 to 36th and State (about 3 miles from the Payson exit) and you will see Recovery Resources next to the Fastop Gas Station on the left side of 36th Street.

From Springfield, IL

Take I-72 to the Payson exit as noted above and follow Route 96 to Recovery Resources.

From Peoria or Galesburg

Take Route 24 to I-72 south and turn right onto Broadway (Route 104). Go West to 36th Street (the intersection where K-Mart, Western Auto and Wendy’s are located) and turn left. Recovery Resources is located on the right side just before the second stop light (next to Fastop Gas Station).

From northern Missouri

Take Route 24 across the Mississippi River and follow Maine Street up the big hill into Quincy, through the downtown area and all the way to 36th Street (about 3 miles). Turn right (south) at 36th and Maine. Recovery Resources is located next to the Fastop Gas Station about 3 blocks after you turn right.

Accommodations, Food

A Super 8 Motel (228-8808), a Comfort Inn (228-2700, has pool) and a Fairfield Inn (223-5922, has pool) are located within one mile of Recovery Resources. There are Steak ‘N Shake, Applebee’s, Wendy’s, Burger King, Ruby Tuesday, Atlanta Bread Company, McDonald’s, Hardee’s, Long John Silver’s and other establishments within a 1 mile radius, too.
