OUR HISTORY
On March 15, 1965, Articles of Incorporation were approved by the Illinois Secretary of State for a nonprofit corporation entitled “Western Illinois Council on Alcoholism.” The primary purpose of the agency was to provide outpatient services to Adams County alcohol abusers.
Today we are known as Recovery Resources and we operate inpatient services in Quincy and outpatient services in Quincy and Hannibal, Missouri. Formerly known only for substance abuse services, we have expanded our offerings to include general behavioral health. Now, we serve adolescents and adults who suffer from a variety of problems that are substance abuse, anger, violence, emotional and family based.
Families face increasing problems in today’s society. We will continue to expand our service offerings in order to help tri-state residents with their problems. We pledge to provide the highest quality services in a confidential manner.
OUR MISSION
Great River Recovery Resources, Inc. provides the leadership and resources for people who seek to change behaviors that are abusive to any individual, family or other member of society.
OUR VISION
We envision a society in which people are healthy, safe and responsible for the success of that society.
